We participated in World Robot Olympiad 2012 (WRO2012) national competition of Japan.
Our robot can insert all the blocks in 32 seconds.
After WRO 2012 Kansai competition, we improved A team's robot
( • WRO 2012 NNCT A-team, ... )
which finished second at Kansai competition because it was too slow to win at the national competition.
We succeeded significantly reducing the time for inserting all the blocks although we employ the some ideas of Kansai competition's robot.
Our robot consists of many mechanical ideas.
First, our robot collects all blocks only in 10 seconds.
It can lift up all blocks with its four arms which consist of four parallel linkages and a slider crank.
Then, it moves over the poles and inserts the block in the pole.
The inside of our robot is hollow, so it can pass through the poles during inserting the blocks.
We also realize that robot can move the same route at all times.
