People who are against once saved are really having a vantage point issue. God's vantage point is eternity. He already knows who is saved. Man's vantage point is lateral and largely based on outside appearances (fruit inspecting). This is how Jesus could say what He said in Matthew 21:30-32. An external religion, full of piety and good works is not wrong, but it is not the requirement for salvation. It is the result of salvation.

This is how I look at it…Is it true or not that it was the work of Christ alone that saves us? What that documentary was teaching is a work based salvation! The verses that seem to say that a man can lose their salvation are there to show who a real, genuine, born again believer looks like! Christ saves us as His children and He will not lose any of His own! If a man loses their salvation then does that mean Jesus lost one of His own? Think about that for a moment. If a man loses their salvation then that means that that man was once a child of God, right? If that man was a child of God and then that man loses that right to be a child of God, which in turn means Jesus lost one of His own! Is Jesus a liar? No, Jesus is no liar and He Himself through the power of the Holy Spirit will present His own people faultless before His presence at the end! Salvation is not in our own hands to keep, salvation is in Gods power to keep His own!

It doesn’t exist. ! Titus is three chapters long it says to do good works 6 times, and in the middle of Titus, it says grace teaches us to say no to a godliness. So if we’re not saying no to godliness, we don’t have the true grace of God, according to Titus, 2:11-12 !Titus, along with the book of James that says we are justified by works and not by faith only Says James 2:24. ! Being saved means one is destined for eternal life with God and Christ. It’s not a game of ‘seesaw’. When someone is ‘saved’ their spirit(the real you) is born again. But the flesh has to be ‘reconstituted’. Anything other has to be addressed on ‘judgment day’. Jesus died once for all, He’s not going to do it again. Once you’re saved that’s a done deal, final done deal. Now, whatever a person does after they’re is by their flesh, the ‘sinful nature’. Apostle Paul once said “the things I should do I don’t do, but things I don’t want to do I do. God’s mercies endure forever(Psalm 136). God’s mercies endure forever in the name of Jesus Christ. Don’t listen to anybody who says you can lose your salvation. That’s false doctrine. Moreover, God said nothing will separate His love from His children in Jesus.👍🙏🏼

Ephesians 1:13-14 In Him you also trusted, after you heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation; in whom also, having believed, you were sealed with the Holy Spirit of promise, 14who[d] is the [e]guarantee of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, to the praise of His glory.

@wolfwatchers hmmm, I haven't heard of the Gospels being told just to Israel. Idk if I'm misunderstanding you, but from what I understand, there is the old covenant and the new covenant. The old covenant was given through Moses on the mount, and the new covenant was made through Jesus. When you read Isaiah 49, it explains that the Redeemer, the Holy one, will be sent for Israel but also for the gentiles, which is us. If that is the case, then Jesus's teachings would be for us, too. Plus, I agree that the epistles, especially Roman's is a great understanding of how we should live as Christians, and that, yes, only Christ is the way into heaven but those that truly believe will be evident through the righteousness done through them which is the following of the commands in the new covenant. So if you proclaim to be Christian but yet still commit acts of the flesh all the time, then I would question if you are truly saved. I'm still a baby when it comes to the scriptures. I haven't read the whole Bible yet. I've read the new testament and I'm in the old in Jeremiah right now. I also have a mentor helping me understand and teaching me how to study the scriptures. So I got a ways to go.

I have not met anyone in person in the church that i attend that believes what you are saying and what i agree with. Im writing this halfway through the video so you may cover but most of the people i hear that refute eternal security dont say you cant be saves but they say if you die while committing sin or if Jesus comes while son is being committed that you will be lost

Actually, once saved always saved is Biblical. Jesus went into the Holy of Holies once for all. To think anything else flies in the face of the sanctification work and continued advocacy of the Holy Spirit. That advocacy is the reason that God will be able to judge works and give rewards at the judgment seat of Christ (to the end that we would all be without excuse). God can say: "Hey, I sent my Son, I gave you everything you needed to be kept in this wicked world). The old covenant passed away (death of the testator (ushering the new). God cut covenant with Israel. He says: "I will." "I will put my law in them, and write it on their hearts." We can never work for the grace which is a gift of God.. The point is that the working of the Holy Spirit in the new birth causes us to be transformed in the image of Jesus. So, there's no way to have the Holy Spirit and have the urge to keep being antagonist to God and grieving the Spirit. No... we come along. Some slower than others, but we come along according to Philippians 2:12-13).

Romans 6 shows that believers can "let sin reign in their mortal body." So that's why you cannot look at how someone lives morally to see if they're saved or not. 1 Corinthians 3 is another example, where Paul says to genuine believers: "And I, brethren, could not speak unto you as unto spiritual, but as unto carnal, even as unto babes in Christ. I have fed you with milk, and not with meat: for hitherto ye were not able to bear it, neither yet now are ye able. For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men? For while one saith, I am of Paul; and another, I am of Apollos; are ye not carnal? Who then is Paul, and who is Apollos, but ministers by whom ye believed, even as the Lord gave to every man?"

Genuine question: Can we say that Paul "despairing of life" equates to suicidal thoughts? Suicide is the taking of one's life, therefore suicidal thoughts are thoughts to take one's life. You said, and I agree, that Paul wanted God to end to his life, not that Paul himself was going to end his life. We see similar instances of this with Elijah and Job, but none of these men think to take their own lives but rather ask God to do it for them. As a point of technicality, I don't think it can rightly be called suicidal.

Calvinism is logically bankrupt, and it makes God seem partial. For someone to have the audacity to say that God doesn't mess with some people, but others He does, is Biblically indefensible. God calls all men everywhere to repent.

The most troubling part of this documentary is when they suggest that only believer's past sins are forgiven and not their future ones. These texts couldn't be any more clear: Proverbs 10:12 - "Hatred stirreth up strifes: but love covereth ALL sins." Colossians 2:13 - "And you, being dead in your sins and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he quickened together with him, having forgiven you ALL trespasses." 1 John 1:7 - "But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from ALL sin." 1 John 2:12 - "I write unto you, little children, because your sins are forgiven you for his name’s sake." Those passages that talk about sins past or old sins (Romans 3:25 and 2 Peter 1:9) don't say that ONLY our past sins are forgiven. If Christ didn't die for all of our sins, then Christ's work was incomplete, even though it was complete, because He said, "It is finished." (John 19:30).

You contradicted yourself with first John 1:7 & Took It Out Of context! if you walk in the light, the blood of Jesus, Will cleanse you of all sin! Previous verse. If you walk in darkness, you’re a liar, and do not the truth. 1 John 1: 6 If we claim to have fellowship with him and yet walk in the darkness, we lie and do not live out the truth. 7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all[b] sin. Jesus didn’t die so you can keep on sinning

@@ohgin12345 So there’s 613 Commandments in the Old Testament you have to meticulously obey and 0 in the New Testament? You’re a baby Christian if You believe that, There’s 1000+ Commandments in the New Testament, we are under the law of Christ Says Galatians 6:2, 1 Corinthians 9:21! Anytime, you see the word faith it means faithfulness in the Greek [Pistis] in the hermeneutics - which is the arts and science of biblical interpretation! So John 3:16 is present future tense it’s not past tense believed, it’s believes, you continue to believe in Christ you’ll be saved ! And as far as first John 1:7 says, if you continue to walk in the light, the blood of Jesus Will cleanse you from all sin! John 3:36 look that up in the original language, a.k.a. the new American standard, the closest English translation we have to the Greek! It says if you obey Jesus, you’ll have everlasting life! And there’s so much more scriptures, that say we are saved for good works not from good works Ephesians 2:8-10

Falling Angels and the dead that didn't know God cannot be saved. Anyone can change, so they have an opportunity to be saved. It's all about your belief and how strong your heart is in your belief. God knows your heart, you cannot hide from God, ever. This is wonderful, because there are so many people who lean to their own understanding. It's because some of them are trying to protect their agenda, to make a profit. I can say this Corey, some of us believe, some of us do not, but some of us don't have a choice. I was trying to figure out why I experienced what I did, but I found out when I started studying God's word. I want to know the truth and I don't trust everyone. I question everything.

my friend, once saved always saved is what the gospel is-- because it's impossible for God to lie or play tricks with our minds. We are not saved based on any works of righteousness we do, it is by grace alone, by faith alone in Christ alone. Everything else is works of righteousness that God gave us to do for our own benefits and to obtain rewards, and be an example of children of the kingdom. Those who do nothing but hold the profession of their faith of the Son of God are children of God and therefore are sealed unto the day of redemption. That's the promise of God. Many folks have problem understanding and accepting this fact for the simple fact that is impossible for man but not with God.

Yes, once saved always saved. If he dwells in you you cannot sin. True salvation vs worldly salvation. Old testament teaches the spirit can leave you but in the new it abides in you forever. So when we believe it can leave us it's because we still have short comings we want to justify

Direct words from The living word… Luke 9:23-24 And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me. For whosoever will save his life, shall lose it: and whosoever shall lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it. …It appears you lean on your own understanding and form of intelligence or the spirit of pride has taken over as you desire or consider yourself a teacher(judged more harshly by the highest judge) of the word sure of your calling but rejecting correction and lead others with this false teaching and gospel. It personally cost us nothing to receive the finished work of Christ that makes salvation or reconciliation available to us as believers. OSAS teaching is much closer to the salvation of “the good thief” whom was literally on his deathbed next to The Savior. Christ sums up receiving the already completed work of salvation in Luke 9:23-24 and what work by faith is comes before your life is considered “saved” aka salvation. If you’re not on your death bed osas is something to not even try to lean to as a believer who knew and received the instructions of how a believer is to live considering the grace God gives everyday for said believer. It’s like satan trying to return to heaven after he knew the truth of God and his kingdom. Turning holy grace into wantonness as Jude speaks of and teaching or receiving a false understanding of the One true gospel I can assure you is not pleasing to the Lord but it is fulfilling prophecy. No matter how many applause of men you may receive with this false teachings don’t be surprised when you are marked and avoided as “brethren”, before your fate as a fig tree failing to produce the expected fruit after so many years “studying” the gospel. Also revealing the lack of holy fruit you produced as a “long time” teacher who should be spiritually considered a tree planted by the river, evergreen and producing the fruit of God in and out of season. A false understanding is NOT a fruit of our holy Father or his river.
