My brother has borderline personality disorder and I remember he'd always listen to this when he was down. Coming back and hearing it now just makes so many things click about his mindset. It's not really my favorite music but I'm glad these guys made it and helped my brother through his life.

Truth is there was never a "safe space" you either adapted and grew a thicker skin or your mind broke and you become everything that society warns you about and you quickly become dead after that. Today its even worse because kids are taught to basically self destruct at the drop of a hat, kids with absent parents have little chance to become anything more than statistics, leftism has almost killed the younger generations.

Paranoid schizophrenic here, I’ve ruined so many relationships because of my delusions, pushed away so many people when they couldn’t help me, couldn’t understand the hallucinations. The feeling that there’s always something wrong with you, the feeling that it’ll last your entire life and continue to ruin everything, I feel that. Knowing that it’s because of you, that everything that happens is your fault? Wanting people to listen but no one understands? Wondering if everything is your fault, feeling like it always will be? This song reflects that perfectly, so respect to the rest of you that feel that way. A wonder none of us have eaten a bullet for breakfast, not yet at least, but don’t let it get you down, just keep pushing through
