The more I watch this series the more overrated the Attitude Era starts to look and the more affably underrated WCW starts to look. I guess being a kid in the late nineties really keeps you from seeing things from a more discernible perspective, but I never realized how much the WWF relied on the gimmicks, shock, and storyline compared to WCW who relied heavily on the wrestling. The NWO changed that of course but even then, WCW clearly had better matches and better wrestlers. The cruiserweight division in WCW dwarfed the comparable division in WWF just on technical ability alone. WCW had better tag teams as well.
@marcludwick512
5 ай бұрын
Tag teams, cruiserweight, and mid-card in the WCW was the best. But they had the old washed up gezzer's for the main events and always ended in a rush in b.s. DQ finish week after week. WWF was better in storylines and building top stars.
