Loved this when I was a kid. Hated that you still had to pin the opponent after the submission finishers.

My cousin and I played this for HOURS back in 1993. He was always Bret Hart and I was always Mr. Perfect. WWF was religion to us back then.

I remember me and my stepdad recreated one of the Royal Rumbles where Bret and Lex both won I think I was Lex and my stepdad was Bret and it came down to us two in the end but couldn’t pull off the ending of the original Royal Rumble

It always bugged me that the majority of the finishers were off. Bret Hart and Ric Flair had submission finishers, that didn't submit. Crush and Million Dollar Man similar, but they put the opponent to sleep, didn't do that. Perfect and Yoko were pin finishers, that didn't pin. HBK no longer did the Tear Drop Suplex, and Macho's elbow drop was actually the standard elbow drop all the characters did. Still, was a fun game.

That silly dance Yokozuna did before his finisher was the one thing from this game that had stuck with me all these years.

I still love this game, as you can probably tell with the amount of playthroughs for it (and WWF Raw) on this Channel. They’ve got their flaws for sure, but they personify 90s gaming to me.

@@Virtual.Suplex I'd have to go with the Genesis one. It's got Hulk Hogan, Jim Duggan, Rick Martel, and Papa Shango.

The SNES version had a much better roster except for not having Hogan. It would be cool if someone did a hack which combines all characters. It is so glaring with the audience members having Hogan shirts.
