God bless all those Canadian young men who served and died for their country and for the free world. My father graduated high school early, and with the permission of his parents, joined the US Army to be shipped to the Philippines. He saw no combat, as the allies weren't forced to invade Japan, and came home to marry my mom and raise a family.

I've always enjoyed this type of art. Even as a kid I thought it was interesting.

Super Wabbit got under my skin, the crew went down. I do want to say it was due mostly because they were ordered to remove their nose art from their B-29, and they were not the only ones ordered to remove nose art, that also met with terrible fates, after they lost their Magic, their good Ju-Ju.

A longer interval between pics would be nice, it's moving so quickly that the art is difficult to see.

The thumbnail pic is that of a George Petty pin-up from Esquire magazine from 1944. I have the 1944 year in review centerpiece that showed all his greatest pu's from 1943 and 1944 Included in that is the original Memphis Bell....only she wore a gray bathing suit instead of a red one.

Too fast for anyone to read the nose art. Slow it down boys and do away with the annoying music.

Notice that it''s only Army, not Navy, planes with nose art. The Navy did not it on their aircraft.

Times gone by before everyone got all p.c. it's a shame I read some where that in Korea the base commders wife didn't like the naked women on the B-29's so he ordered that they cover up some people good day Bruce
