Sometimes when I'm out doing my military training I'm asked to mix my two jobs. My specialty in interacting with WWII Veterans and being a military journalist. Here is a story I got to cover in 2018 that I think everyone will like.
Claude Cawood joined the Army in 1939. He served in the Philippines during World War II. He was invited to visit the artillery range at Camp Grayling, Michigan to visit with current artillerymen and get the opportunity to pull the lanyard on this massive weapon system.
