The moments between Xavier saying, "I have faith in you" and the future being changed were pure cinematic gold. The cuts between the past and the future, the conflicted look on Mystique's face, the way it cut back and forth between her and Trask's face... simply amazing. The look in her eyes was S-Rank levels of acting.

+Mina Massoud When Xavier says that and the music plays and all of the X-Men die and Mystique conflicts about killing Trask, I always tear up. It really does feel like everything that has happened in the X-Men series has lead to Days of Future Past, despite the continuity differences (except Origins. I will never acknowledge that movie). The one problem Apocalypse has facing it is that the ending to Days of Future Past was so grand and unbelievable, that it may be hard to do something more to end it.

You make a good strong point. The never lose hope part I get. but forgetting the past is something I can't overcome. After all, the past is what made us, right? Every day I always find myself lost in memories. I wish it was that simple for me to just move on, but for some reason I can't.

Armando Loaeza Armando, I have been there. Consumed by past memories and over thinking day and night. Study and practice mindfulness (Wayne Dyer and Eckhart Tolle KZitem videos are helpful). Things end because something else is ready to begin. Have you stopped growing? Its essential you find a way to rebuild your self esteem and start to grow again. Once you get "yourself" back you will find peace with the past and realise that it was all a bit like a bad dream. Good luck.

I wanted to watch Days of Future Past one final time before waiting for the X-Men Days of Future Past Rogue Cut to be released and let me say besides the storyline, the acting, the special effects, and the sentinals the music also did this movie great justice. I love this one cause it set the tone to the remaining xmen believing they were at their final moments. They saw failure in their plan while embracing their demise scared shitless. I even felt Iceman's death was even more of an impact because of this song of sorrow and loss and failure to save the future from basically extinction of mutants.....

My comic book goat movie is Flashpoint Paradox (animated film from 2013) , but my comic book LIVE Action goat will always be Days of Future Past , this is the best live action superhero film of all time by a ridiculous margin.

Always well up...seeing the X-men of old have to face their failure, their deaths. Magneto looks it right in the eye. Charles shrinks away ...having never really prepared himself for the possibility that he might lose. A Masterpiece,

This is the most remarkably emotional scene in a movie I have seen in recent years (new movies I mean).

970954894NG09 The way you worded it made it sound like you were saying Batman was Marvel. A better way to have worded it would be 'DOFP is the best Marvel based film to date, and the best comic book movie behind the Dark Knight trilogy'

some of these track names differ from what they really are in the movie This should be- I have faith in you-goodbyes Join me should be - Do what you were made to do and i have faith in you-goodbyes should be renamed something different like Future Battle

This isn't the only instance where this has happened, unfortunately. The Dark Knight movies suffer from the same annoying issue.

Ah, there's the song for I have faith in you, Raven. This scene was so tough to watch, seeing all the future X-Men getting annihilated by the Sentinels. It wasn't even a fight, just as extermination.

Every single mutant who died in this film was a pain to watch. They were wonderful in all their marvelous ways and seeing them inevitably die in the hands of such robotic, cold monsters...
