Thanks for the precise and detailed information . I appreciate getting the full picture of my new plants. The filtered water tip is going to be especially helpful as my tap water is really harsh on my sensitive plants.

I have a xanthosoma lindeii whatever the rest of name is- it was growing really well but when I moved it from a west to south window - it somehow became not so healthy and leaves started curling n drying up with brown edges on outer leaves - I water well when soil is an inch or so dry from above, and I didn’t see any bugs on it but don’t know what’s wrong with it - it lost a lot of leaves and grown thin with just few leaves - now I put it indoors in a south window away from direct sun- I see new baby leaves coming out but they start with curled baby leaves - then slowly open up- is that how baby new leaves come out ? What do you suggest I do to make it healthy again ? 🫤🥴😲😟😕😔any advice will try - thank you !
