Great video bro. Thanks you for the pointers. I've changed struts on a Chrysler and Toyota a car is a car and it's pretty much the same way. Once again thanks.

Excellent. This is not too difficult to do. I highly recommend that you should not be cheap with replacement parts. Brand name is more important than price. Again, this is a very good refurbishment. Also, check the wheel bearings. Use SKF brand if you replace the wheel bearings. Big improvement if they are making noise or feel rough. GL and enjoy the ride.

@@A_Renaissance_Man definitely! i went with A1 TRQ parts. i am also doing her brakes at the same time so that should make this even easier. good idea to inspect wheel bearings while im already there

As I recall they were very expensive at volvo parts web store so I went to rmeuropean, rocky mountain european, which I like for both OEM and other brand parts. I hope all goes well for you.

Greasing fittings is a joke, I remember my old boss used to ask people if they want their fittings greased - of course the fittings were gone from dryrott and over all wear. Grease would just come right out. Haven't used greased fittings in my cars since about 06'.

How is the strut holding up after 2 years? Reading so many different opinions on the quality of quick struts

It is holding up well but I would rather bought an OEM used and even would buck up and bought new if I had the money

@@A_Renaissance_Man Thank you, so tempting these quick struts. Alternative is to swap the coil spring onto a new strut. I would be willing to spend the money on OEM strut. Just so much respect to the loaded spring. Don’t want to injure myself, never compressed a spring before.

What make were these and are you happy with them after 6 months?

The brand is unity sold by CariD for $235(including S&H). Right after I installed them, Scotty Kilmer put out video saying not to buy them. I have been happy with them and they are performing as expected. They have smaller diameter springs and a smaller piston rod. I cannot tell any difference in the ride from the originals. I would think that 100,000 miles would be the best I could expect from these. Thank you for asking. Getting two for half the price of one OEM strut was just too irresistible for me to pass up. Having said that, the OEMs are more robust.

David Prokity I’m going to get this brand. I have a question if you don’t mind. I get a loud click when I turn the wheel all the way to one way or another and under hard braking. Could it be the strut mount ? Any ideas would be helpful
