Grand Tourer Ep7 - Seems an ESP Fairmont Ghia generates just as much interest over here as a Granada 28i Ghia X does back in Europe. Plenty of comments in the last video featuring this 1982 (confirmed) 4.9 litre from the early eighties that was pulled from his lock up (not quite a barnfind for the true pedants) nearly a decade after being put away. Mike has the honour of bringing the old bruiser back to life and in this video gives us an update on where he's at. After that, the XBGT Falcon hardtop I featured in a very early episode is nearing completion and Dan's on hand to let us know what's been done and what's to do on what will be a truly spectacular build.
Basically, if you love @TheLateBrakeShow Barnfinds or @Hagerty Barn Find Hunter, you’ll love this.
Anyway, I hope you enjoy the video.
Classic, Vintage, Veteran and RADwood car restorations and repairs from the vantage point of the mechanics, auto body mechanics and paint technicians that work to keep our motoring heritage on the road.
Twice weekly visits to classic auto garages featuring cars from 1886 to 1999 & including car restoration, rebuilds, repairs and restomods to anything from Aussie V8s, American muscle cars, Euro exotics, JDM, your coveted everyday runabout and more. If it's built before the turn of the century, there's every chance I'll film it.
I simply love old cars and visiting garages to chat to the people working on them. Added to that, I devour car content on youtube so I thought I'd join in and make some myself.
Hopefully you might like to come along for the journey as well.
