Top review mate. What you said about oud being for all seasons i get that with other scents like frankincense and (real) musk, also some spices like ginger and cardamon. In the middle east though they wear heavy fragrances in 40+ & a lot of times it works.

yeah I do think it's partly culture based, over there it's the norm to wear very strong fragrances.. over here people tend to be more subtle with it.

Excellent review Peter. “Anamalic” scents mostly offend people who don’t like the way people smell, and well, we are what we eat, so eat all the garlic you want, but please lay off the onions! Cheers!

Appreciate the take! Is Xerjoff still releasing fragrances in this line? 🤔

What do you think about Russian adams new releases? Even more uninspired and lazy. Its a fan boy brand now and he's more worried about new bottle presentations than making actual perfumes.

I notice he's spending a lot of money on the bottles these days.. all hand cut, they do look pretty, but it's a lot of extra money going into hand cut fancy bottles and fancy boxes. I probably won't purchase the sample set, just because I've never smelled an Areej that I wanted to actually buy. It's kind of a waste of money for me, if he writes and offers to send samples my way, I'll certainly review them.
