I also use 6s on these xfly 64mm w an 80amp esc for a multi engine scratch built Avro Vulcan. Great job!

I took my 3900kv motor out of my FMS F35 and put it in the T7A. Direct fit and 101mph! 3min run time on 4s 2200. I think it would explode on a 6s but damn if I can't resist trying it.

Alrighty done some minor testing, I ended up with the QX 2200kv 64mm Motor, Couldn't get the 2400kv, on the bench with 1800MAH 50c 6s battery I get 1400 Grams of thrust peak, but it does not lag as bad when was 4s, I have lost my other data, I want to say it was pulley about 45amps peak, so there is room left, I am running Avian 60 amp ESC, soon to switch to Xfly 80 amp. I have also tested the Xfly 3400kv 64mm Stock motor on 6s boy oh boy, I did not get thrust because I left all of my scales at the shop, but she pulled 72amps peak and 1480 watts, was using a 60amp ESC and the 1800 MAH battery as well. Flight testing went well, love the sound and the thrust from the QX Motor, top speed so far is 78MPH, about 12mph faster then stock on 4s but my frame is beat to hell and back so I am sure there is some drag. More to come from this, maybe a fire next LOL.

@Garfield Houstan did a quick thrust test on the bench with the xfly motor correction (3200kv) 2400 grams of thrust. 😳 60% battery on a 4000mah 30c 6s battery. Once I get that Frsky 80amp esc it's going into the airplane 😈

@@ghoustanable Ok awesome, I have been eye balling them for a while, I have gone FrSky Tx and Rx and have not looked back. I do have a few hobbywings but only 60amps. Wow man that sucks, what are they doing with our freedoms? Sorry to hear that but I have a feeling it will happen here soon enough. Damn Shame!

Yoooo Garfield, you did exactly what I had in mind with the 6s setup, the 4s just don't have enough ass for me. Ill be hooking mine up next LOL. You can get a 3:30 flight on an 1600mah 6s wow, I can barley get 3 minutes on the 2200 4s. By chance did you get some top speed data or thrust data output? I install servos in my rudders wasn't very difficult but I was lazy too, took me 2 weeks cause I did not want to do it LOL. I am sooooo excited to do this I am glad you shared it.

I didn't do a thrust test on the stand, but it feels like it's more than one to one thrust to weight ratio. Cheers

@@ghoustanable Outstanding! That 4s just isn't kicking it for me, it takes a good 30 to 40 feet of paved runway to get it off the ground without stalling for me, maybe its mine cause she's fat in the back LOL. Running a 5280 burner and 2 servos for the rudders. Thanks for sharing though, cant wait ;-)
