I'm so happy you're reacting to the doc! I love hearing other people's thoughts and insights on it. I like that they show the raw side of idol training but I also understand this is curated for us. Simon..this is why Alphaz are so attached to him. Don't be afraid to pause to catch something or give your thoughts. That's what I'm here for 😊 Awesome reaction!🫡🐺🧬👽

Ahhh thank you for watching with me💕 This was my first time finally understanding which Simon is lol and although I don't know him well yet you can really tell how devoted he is and how much he cares for them its really touching🥺 There's also something about him that commands respect if that makes sense I can't quite put my finger on it yet lol I'm really looking forward to learning more about all of them over the course of the series😌

I know all groups have a this one person that’s their manager/producer that’s calling the shots. But with Simon it really feels more personal if you watch a lot of their videos when they’re playing a tv show or live performance or when they’re on vacation or whatever Simon is ALWAYS there looking after them He really feels like a father figure to them

Since you mention not knowing who the other trainees that didn't make XG are, you might wonder why the documentary also kinda focuses on Hikaru. It is because after she got removed from the XG debut group she went on to participate in the Girls' Planet 999 survival show and became part of Kepler, making her more well-known in K-pop than the XG members
@izzy_robotix
7 ай бұрын
Ohhhh that's where she's from?! Or rather where she went lol I was curious but I figured at the time of filming they hadn't decoded on the final girls so they got as much footage as possible. But that's really cool to know! I'm happy she still got a chance to live her dream even if it wasn't with XG😌

@@izzy_robotix The later episodes go a little bit deeper into her story, but if you don't already know her before watching the docu it feels a bit weird that they sometimes focus on this trainee who didn't make the cut

@@izzy_robotix You will see Hikaru in some of the Xtra XG episodes as well. Hikaru may have moved on to Kep1er but she is still great friends with XG.

There's several girls that have important roles in the story of the documentary and to the foundation of who XG is now. Although Hikaru is the most famous former trainee she's probably not the most important former trainee to the documentary story. Don't want to spoil things so not naming names.
