どうもありがとうございます😭 Thank you for posting this invaluable video on KZitem. This video captured the coastline of Shek Tong Tsui that was before reclamation. That part of the sea has already turned into a cargo pier within a few years, then gradually transformed into a walkway with leisure facilities now. I miss the good old days when I was little, when I could shout out loud from the window of my room on the 13th floor and my parents could actually hear me from their ships.

I miss HOME. Those cheap tram rides from my city ( Wan Chai ) to Central or Southern Playground. 😢 the noise, the wooden seats, the smell. 😢 I'm living in the Philippines now since my parents brought me here by the year 1997. This brings back so much of my memories ❤❤❤😢 thank you for posting!

We call it "Chin-chin densha(チンチン電車)" in Japan. It is same meanings as "Ding-ding tram". Most Japanese trams have no bells now.

Today, the chin chin densha in Hong Kong are no change. You video such as yesterday. But, actually Hong Kong was changed too much nowadays.

These trams are fantastic. Don't seem to remember seeing any of these ones with this open deck in the back part. Odd to see that a lot of things in Hong Kong were same as they are today but also a lot of things changed, i wish i could travel it in the past century!

very interesting the tram you were on seemed to have a conventional horn...i remember trams back then had a bell that's went ding ding ding....that's why trams are still to this day affectionately known as "ding dings"
