Your video makes me feel like being in Hong Kong as I always stay at Tsim Sha Tsui or Jordan areas. It seems that HK may implement quarantine-free travel probably by end of this year. Are you already back in S'pore?

You just made me nervous! Now I'm having second thoughts about going to a Cha Chan Tang if/when I visit Hong Kong. It'll be tough if you can't read traditional Chinese on the menu and the waiter is breathing down your neck.

This is just an extreme case. When you visit HK, you should definitely go to cha chaan teng. Many of their menus have English translation. No worries!

我身为一个新加坡人就不想尝试这种快速用餐的经验。。。。因为不想ill-treated my stomach and intestines😅😅😅😅😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣!!!! 现在21世纪已经是一个非常压迫和压力的世界了,如果连私人用餐也那么有压力没能好好快乐的享受和品尝食物。。。。。哎o(︶︿︶)o。。。。那做人比做牛还苦命!!!! 牛羊都知道和会慢慢的吃草。。。慢慢开心的品尝草的美味啦!!! 所以我一辈子都不会也不懂欣赏这种快速文化!!!
During morning rush, sometimes the MRT train stops for a while at the track nearing Jurong East before pulling in. The timing of the trains can't be always perfect. The train ahead is still at the station, the oncoming train has to stop shortly at the track. Sometimes, people rushing may drop things at the entrance causing slight delays. Only at above ground like interchange at Jurong East that passengers are able to witness it. During non-peak, Downtown Line for example needs no rush due to lesser passengers. The trains would wait a while for passengers before moving off. Not that we like to take our own sweet times. Similarly, in HK it happens too. Service needs to be optimal not just for the sake of speed.

When I was in HK from 2016-2019, I went to Australia Dairy Co often for my breakfast. The queues were often very long due to tourists. But in 2019 Dec *(protest year), the queues were shorter. The business was brisk due to its convenient location. I normally visited there during off-peak hours. Typically rude service, but in 2019 also partly due to less customers, I was surprisingly offered an extra chair by the waiter to place my bag & winter jacket.

As a comment by (thirty nine), S'pore MRT is just as fast during peak morning/evening hours. Non-peak hours, I agree that HK is much faster. Try taking the MRT at Raffles Place, City Hall, Tg Pagar, Outram, Jurong East & Int'l Business Park during rush hours. You would get the feel just like being in HK. Everyone is rushing to get to work or going home . HK's pace is faster partly due to passengers need to walk much longer distance to get to their destinations due to massive MTR layouts vs S'pore. I'm a fast walker myself. I walk super fast even in HK. When I go to my office in the morning, I practically run & walk fast to save time. In the evening, the mad rush also repeats. During weekends & rest days, we slow down our pace just like people in HK. We can't be forever rushing detrimental to our health.

@@MsKarman I've been to HK for a very long time. By my 3rd visit to HK long time ago, I already knew the answers of walking fast. On Sundays in Spore, the foreign workers walk very fast (day off). It can be seen in interchanges at Outram, Dhoby Ghaut & Jurong East etc. In HK, besides the busy stations, the transfer from Central to HK station is also a mad rush. Dhoby Ghaut & Outram though similar seem can't compare with those massive HK stations. Besides, HK has higher population & it naturally feels much hectic & rushed. 😎😇
