Thank you kimi! I’ve been looking for a good video on mini kusamono! I’ve looked for that mini saxifraga everywhere. I’m super interested in how it’s cultivated? I have a saxifraga stolonifera - but I haven’t been able to make it so small. Are they naturally that small? I’m in England so the material for mini kusamono is limited. Would you help me mention a few in Latin names so I can find them? Thank you so much as always kimi you channel is invaluable!

Thank you for your nice comment This "Yakushima Yukinoshita" is a kind that grows naturally in the deep mountains of Okinawa (Yakushima) and is originally small in nature. The severity of the temperature difference made this plant dwarf. I looked up the scientific name, but I didn't understand it .... There is distribution in Japan. I can't sell plants abroad, so I don't think it's useful for you ...

@@-kimisbonsai- thank you! I thought that was the case! Japan has all the interesting plants! Do you mainly material already dwarfed from a bonsai supplier then separate and put in pot like you did in the video? We don’t have that kind of material so wondering how to do it with normal nursery material. Or maybe best grow from seed directly in the small pot?

Sometimes I sow seeds in small pots and grow them, and sometimes I grow large materials little by little. Most of the time, when I buy grass like the video, I immediately divide it into small pots. And one of them is for breeding and is increasing!
Hi Kimi. Is the grass a ledebouria cooperi? I have put in a small ball this year. Does it spread with in the pot by itself or you do you have to fill the pot with bulbs? Also do you have them to make them regrow more than once a year to make small?

Hello ❗ I think it's probably the kind of grass you're thinking of. I put it in a small pot first and basically don't replant it. When it overflows from the pot, put it in a new pot. 😀

@@-kimisbonsai- thank you kimi-chan! Sorry for explaining so bad. Do you ever cut it down to make it spread? Or just do nothing. I planted this year but it hasn’t multiplied. Maybe I’m just being Impatient 😅

Hi, Kimi, I like your channel, can you please identify for me plants from crasullaceae family in the footage 7:30 and 8:20? You can write it in japanese, just japan names, if you do not know latin names. Thank you.

Hello! The first succulent plant is called yellow ring grass「黄輪草」. It is a member of the Crassulaceae. The second is called "star spelling"「星つづり」, but I don't know the exact plant name.
