@@tanhakkoon I don't really agreed that. My relative's son in early years from normal stream then ITE. But he graduated as a master degree holder from NTU. My kid's friend from ITE but after poly ended a scholarship in NUS. It depends on individual what you want in their life and pursue own individual dream. In fact my kid also from Ngee Ann poly was offered NUS scholarship.

@@tanhakkoon The p3 streaming is controversy because too young to judge. But on the other hand some really brilliant students benefited from this system. My friend's son was from this system but he just smart since young. With a score of 43 out of 45(full mark)in the IB exam and ended up in NUS and got his master degree scholarship in NTU. There are kids who are smart, average, slow learner. Is difficult for the govt to implement this policy. Is like prejudgement the kids future. So is really dilemma, every child are born not the same. Govt really need to weigh the pros and cons.

@@tanhakkoon As I mentioned, is difficult to judge students too early. Some shine much earlier, some may be at later stage. No system is perfect. Even now primary 1 and 2 no exam, my relative was complaining is ridiculous and unfair. Ended up engaged a tutor for the kid.
Singapore Educational system is always changing.... I cannot say he is wrong ... but what he is trying to explain is donkey years back ... Which does not apply to the current educational system system in Singapore in 2022. As a Singaporean in Pattaya currently, I can only say what you have heard comments from this Singaporean in this video can only use a guide. I am currently located in Phratamnak, Pattaya. Just 3.7 Kilometers away from your residence at Laguna 1 by Car.This Singaporean accepting your interview probably is at least 50 years of age.
Thank God! We are not live in Singapore but in the USA, there is definitely something wrong with their educational system! My husband and I were late bloomers but never received any tutorials. We sucked in elementary school, started taking off in middle school, and shined in high school. We both got full scholarships for undergraduate, and graduate schools. If we were in Singapore, we would have been marked as under-level and have totally different lives. The interviewer claimed that Singapore's education was outstanding! I don't know what supports his claim! if the statement is true, Singapore was already a world-leading country in many aspects such as Medical Sciences, Space Sciences.....etc.But so far we haven't seen that yet. I realized that sometimes someone told you that he is outstanding, and that may be true, but only at the Kindergarten level.
