Tres autoras valientes que escriben sobre las vidas contemporáneas de hoy en día, muestras sin pudor que el lenguaje importa a la hora de construir personajes, paisajes y situaciones, que, desde la literatura, nos faciliten poder ver mejor qué significa vivir hoy en día.
Claire Kilroy ha publicado cinco novelas, All Summer (Faber, 2003), Tenderwire (Faber, 2006), All Names Have Been Changed (Faber, 2009), y The Devil I Know (Faber, 2012). Su quinta novela, Soldier Sailor, se ha publicado después de once años de silencio y ha recibido el reconocimiento mundial. Kilroy recibió el premio de literatura irlandesa 2004, Rooney Prize. Estudió en Trinity College y vive en Dublín.
Mónica Müller es médico y escritora argentina. Ha publicado novelas y relatos, así como libros de divulgación médica. Entre sus libros más recientes se encuentran Mi papá alemán (Seix Barral, 2018), una autoficción sobre la vida de su padre en la Argentina y Sobre lo natural (Vinilo, 2023), pequeño ensayo crítico sobre las modas en materia de salud y nutrición.
Velia Vidal es una escritora colombiana amante del mar y de las lecturas compartidas. Fue BBC 100 Women 2022: lista de 100 mujeres inspiradoras e influyentes de todo el mundo. Velia ha publicado, entre otros, Chocó: selva, Lluvia, río y mar (Lazo libros, 2023), Para vernos mejor (Laguna libros, 2022) y Aguas de estuario (Laguna Libros, 2020). Es fundadora y directora de la Corporación Educativa y Cultural Motete y de la Fundación Chocó de Lectura y Festival de Escritura (FLECHO).

Claire Kilroy is the author of five novels, All Summer (Faber, 2003), Tenderwire (Faber, 2006), All Names Have Been Changed (Faber, 2009), and The Devil I Know (Faber, 2012). Her fifth novel, Soldier Sailor was published after an eleven year silence to universal acclaim. Kilroy won the Rooney Prize for Irish Literature in 2004. She studied at Trinity College and lives in Dublin.
Mónica Müller is an Argentinian doctor and writer. She has published novels and short stories, as well as popular science books on medical topics. Her most recent books include Mi papá alemán (Seix Barral, 2018), an autofiction on her father’s life in Argentina, and Sobre lo natural (Vinilo, 2023), a short critical essay on fashions in health and nutrition.
Velia Vidal is a Colombian writer who loves the sea and shared readings. She was BBC 100 Women 2022: list of 100 inspiring and influential women from around the world. She published Chocó: selva, Lluvia, río y mar (Lazo libros, 2023), Para vernos mejor (Laguna libros, 2022) and Aguas de estuario. She is the founder and director of the Motete Educational and Cultural Corporation and the Chocó Reading and Writing Festival (FLECHO).
