Never saw this train with those doors or that type of window blind. Not sure how much of this video is supposed to be an accurate representation, such as the stewards in the second class coach behaving as if they are in the restaurant car.

No they were a variation on the theme on the Mk1 coach and had the same chassis and body profile. The prototype Mk2 was built in 1963 and the XP64 coach came out in 1964. Some of the features used in the XP64 coaches were used in the production Mk2. There were 8 XP64 coaches 3 FK, 2 SK and 3 TSO. The doors were their biggest weakness and soon the coaches were rebuilt with standard Mk1 doors. At least 1 coach was preserved, I saw it at Pickering on the NYMR in the 1980s.
