The thing is [and im a PC tech and I build system] when you pass a certain speed threshold, there is no difference in actual speed, outside of benchamrks I think digital foundry had an article or someone else, they got the SLOWEST gen 4 ssd, outside of Sony spec and it was identical as original PS5 SSD If you want to "feel good" about your purchase, get what Sony recommends, Mark Cerny spoke about WD SN850 and Samsung 980 Pro, if you buy any of these youll get semi-offical support

Good video... BTW there is no such thing as a sea gull. Take a look at any bird book and you'll find several types of gulls but you will not find a sea gull.

Wish I had known in advance how sticky the adhesive was on the included heat spreader. Put it on my 2tb Blade as a temporary measure and nearly broke the drive while attempting to remove it (I flexed the board a concerning amount, but don't seem to have damaged any of the components).

Physically, yes they are. They are both 2280 (22mm wide by 80mm long).
