In my DJ bag, I roll with enough adapters to hook up any two pieces of gear in stereo, but I don’t have this. This is too useful to pass up. I’m ordering a pair right now. Thanks for the review!

Awesome video! I purchased the set a little while ago, but need to get another receiver only. How would you pair a new receiver to the original transmitter so that its sending audio to both receivers?

Great question. I had never tried this, so just did q quick test sitting here at my desk. One mic transmitter and 2 receivers on the same channel seamed to work fine. I had the same signal strength to both. Now, I do not know if this is suggested or not and I do not think that they sell them in this way. Best to probably have 2 pairs anyway as it would allow for more options. :)

Kris or anyone! Can you help me? I wanna try something different. I have the Mixstream Pro Go (it can run on battery only) so I wanna walk around the bar at my next gig while mixing but I need both speakers to receive music from the transmitter on my controller but it only comes with 1 receiver. Suggestions welcome! Thanks in advance!

Ok. It comes with one transmitter and one receiver. Simplest answer, buy 2. You may want to transmit in stereo. If not, 2 would allow you to have a backup. Transmitter.

Can you use them WHILE PLUGGED IN and CHARGING?? What if your gig is more than 4-5 hrs long??

I have gotten 5 and had some charge left. I usually have it on for a couple hours and then its back in my bag for weeks before I plug it in the recharge and then it charges fast because I never seem to run it out 100%.

Nice Video! What about delay? Can you use it for the 3rd speaker in the same room? Or will be a small delay on the 3rd speaker?
@KrisSzanto

The delay is under 5ms which I think sounds fine.

I did a beer fest last May and used the X3's. It was insanely TERRIBLE. Mainly people there were like 500 people around the speakers and they jammed the signal like a cow fart at a dairy. They kept cutting out. I recommend for home use.

I have not had this issue as I always have my speakers on poles at about 6ft. I would be curious to how you were set up. In both my examples throughout the night people were walking back and forth between where I had the units connected and no problems.

Thanks for watching. I have never done it, but was told you can use it while powered. Also heard that it may cause the battery life to be shortened if doing this... i do not have 100% info either way. I know that after a few years I am atill getting a full 4 or 5 hrs. Did a review of my first unit a few years ago. 👍 kzitem.info/news/bejne/mKWGrICFnKefnqQ

they are AWFUL in a crowded room, the signal cuts out. The only way it will work in crowds is the elevate them 6 feet up in the air. Otherwise in non crowded venues it works well. But who dj's in empty halls?

Thank you for this video. I was looking for a video that used the Xvive with speakers. If I want to hook up 2 additional speakers with the Xvive, I would need 2 sets, correct? I plan to use the Xvive for the 2 additional speakers for two different rooms to fill the sound. The main setup will have 2 speakers and subs. The venue has a weird layout as the first floor has the main dance floor with guest tables and a bar. There is an upstairs with more guest tables and another bar. Event is expecting about 260 guests. 4:14

Also, instead of plugging the transmitter into the speaker, can I plug in both transmitters to my 12 channel mixer? I plan to use the main mixer board for multiple mics and Dj controller.

Thanks for watching and commenting on the video. Yes, you would need 2. You can use any source to transmit from. The only concern is you mentioned different rooms. These work great line of site, but if you start talking about walls and floors... you wont know until you try. My experience has been higher in the air and line of site. I have also ran cable with a transmitter on the end of it to a better location to make further use possible. Also, you do not know what other devices could cause issues at the venue. I did try their bluetooth receiver next to one of these and it caused an issue.

How do you know when they are fully charged when charging as there is no battery level indicator?
