Thanks Stephen! If you need to Do-It-Yourself, like fixing your plumbing, electrical, or even fixing your car, I highly recommend checking out KZitem videos to find related information. Tons of stuff on KZitem you might find helpful.
What u experienced at least over 20 years ago. Now in UK NHS functions differently. Depending where u r patients go to local surgery GP for medical attention & mostly medical prescriptions r free.

say...thank you please... absolute essential language in UK
本人唔Enjoy亦have no interest in.
Mr Stephen Chan please do not inject too much negativity about British life. Home is where your heart is, it doesn’t really matter where in the world you’re physically living, you can make a good home if you choose to adapt to live in the environment around you. Don’t get me wrong, I’m a avid follower of yours and appreciate the videos and messages you’re putting across but I’m afraid this episode is a little misleading to those who are not familiar with British life. Your comments are probably reflecting your experience a few decades ago, life in UK is very different now. Thanks to social media and technology we can connect with friends and family across the globe even if we’re living world apart. Thanks to urban regeneration and hot money the UK urban scene is much more modern now, lots more Grade A offices and energy efficient new homes developed. However the true Brits probably appreciate historic architecture and small town or village living more. Thanks to global warming the weather isn’t as harsh and gloomy as it used to be, lots more hot and sunny weather. Anyway there’s no such thing as bad weather, just bad clothing. As long as you’re dressed appropriately in preparation for the weather there’s no problem at all. Most people try their hardest to dodge the sunshine in HK by hiding under umbrellas or remaining indoor during the day under the comfort of A/C, at least we embrace the sun when it’s out. Life in UK probably do force us to do most things ourselves but we’ve gained many life skills along the way. If you happens to be one of those who doesn’t want to lift a finger when living in UK, the solution is to commission a handyman from the Task Rabbit app to do it for you! Life can be fun in the uk. We often have dinner parties with friends and family playing mahjong, karaoke, there’s lots of clubs and societies to join, lots of recreational parks, you can go country walking, hiking in national parks. Outside UK there’s over 30 European countries within 2 hour flight if it’s not restricted by the pandemic. Raising a family and working in UK is definitely less stressful than in HK. Sorry for the long message, my rant is over 😅
Not optimistic about 30+ years old HKers moving to UK. Youngsters are the hope and pride of HK though! The only point I disagree with Steven is - 'lots of fresh ingredients in supermarkets.' Um...
