Thank you so so much for your amazing generosity Grumpy. You have just been robbed and here you are helping me and my family financially. WOW I'm so sorry about your terrible run on the road. My old man was a truck driver for almost 50 years. He was one of the first to drive for Fred Green when he started Greenfreight, working out of Myrtleford with just 3 or 4 trucks. He retired 6 months ago and now driver school buses instead. LOL He's almost 73 and just doesn't want to stop. I hope that the people that stole your phone get what they deserve. I hope Karma bites them on the ass mate, which I am sure it will.

It will be one of them, unless it was Wangaratta Kmart. LOL This was a very unhelpful reply was it. LOL sorry mate.

Hi Robbie, THis is how I was taught to cook crustaceans with the exception of using the water they lived in to cook them. I do this at home but i only blanch them. This makes them easier to peel. Once they are peeled i use them in stir frys or whatever I'm cooking. When I'm hungry outdoors i will rake a bed of coals out of the fire and throw them on, this is my absolute favourite way to cook yabbies, I love that smokey seafood flavour.

I find that in the murray river near lake Mulwala those collapsable bait traps work alot better on freshwater shrimp, not sure if thats just because the numbers of shrimp to yabby ratio are higher there or they're easier for the shrimp to get into. Do you know?
@chriscoyne4827
Жыл бұрын
There a lot easier for shrimp to get in then yabbies I have the exact same issue in the Goulburn river
@robbiefishing
Жыл бұрын
Hey mate, they are dynamite shrimp traps. There is rarely shrimp in any of these dams as they need oxygen in their water. Yabbies thrive in poor quality water, but shrimp die which is why they are more prolific in rivers. I do get them in some dams, but usually only dams that have fresh water flowing through them, or pumped into them regularly.

100% agree with you on snakes, completely misunderstood. We have an American Black Snake that lives in the crawl space under our house, and sometimes she likes to come up top to say hello. My wife always freaks out while I simply pick the happy gal up and take her back out(She's not aggressive at all, just a big scaly puppy dog) . I used to call her Mr. Slithers(a play on the Simpson's character Mr. Smithers) but then realized she's a she, so I need a new name for her. I'm leaning towards Medusa, from Greek legends, but not sure that's a good name. Maybe I'll name her Naga.
