@@RCBGaragemy 97 axle slid right out I did the new bearings last week and seals Wasn’t sure if I recalled how I took the seals out and if the new carrier seals go on flat side facing outward . I slid the brake hub and sprocket hub snug and tightens the nuts but the carrier seems stiff to free spin . I wasn’t sure the direction the seals need to face .

@@RCBGarageand is there specific tension the very first axle nut should be at the one that seats against the sprocket hub before the second jamb nut I just feel like the sprocket hub is lip is biting into the carrier seal or the seals are in wrong . I should have looked when taking out the old seals

$16 air hammer from harbor freight and get a flat hammering bit. Best money ever spent it will drive off any seized part or hub off the axle or anything else.

In addition, I also used a calamite at the place of mounting the rocker arm with the frame, because there should also be better lubrication, once I could not unscrew it 😀

I just bought a complete axle carrier and bearings for $100. Id rather buy the whole thing complete then mess around with extra work.

That's defiantly the way to go on your own machine. I flip and the less I spend on parts the better. Smarter not harder is always the best route.

I have an 89 warrior i bought 2 different sets of bearings and both sets are too big. I match the numbers for the kit and it says it fits my 89. Anyone have any idea if they made diffent size carrier bearings?

You might not have the right carrier on it. Might have been changed out at some point.
