The bearings sounded dry/ clapped when you spun them?! Maybe it was just the mic. Love the colour dude!

I cleaned them with brake cleaner/carb cleaner, then spun them with an air compressor. So yeah they were definitely dry at the time.

Sorry for never responding to your comment but I guess better late than never. Anyways the motors actually powder coated and the color I believe was called “sassy” (Item: PSS-3063) from prismatic powders. Hopefully that helps you! www.prismaticpowders.com/shop/powder-coating-colors/PSS-3063/sassy
