Oh Man I used to love my good old and reliable Yamaha R 1s ( I owned 3 of them ) I toured on them all over Europe with luggage and everything else I needed for two weeks away. Apart from being fast is also very comfortable, lots of leg room, very relaxed to ride. This video reminded me when I had the urge to have a go at it and what a joy it was when it was possible. I like how you shift your gears ( Unless you've got a quick shifter on it ..) The stability on it is so reassuring that makes you want to go faster, you hardly feel the wind ( Providing you've got a higher screen ) When I saw my 185 mph - 298 kph it didn't feel I was going that fast, it felt as I was passing the cars slowly at that speed..Nevertheless on another occasion I went faster without the luggage naturally, very satisfactory indeed with the R 1 in every respect, mind you I always had Yamahas.. +stoneeh To get to speeds over 200 KM/H you need to seriously bend forward which is really hard, over 300 you need to take control of your bike becuse wheels could shake and you are basicly sliding on sandpaper at speed of 300km/h, first 10 secounds you would take no injuries but every secound after that is deadly

Crashing at 300km/h at a highway is most likely deadly anyway if you hit something, even if you are properly geared up like you should.

That's a law on german highways, u aren't allowed to pass anyone on their right and always have to drive as far right as possible. So who wants to drive fast can just drive on the other lanes

I’ve been on the autobahn, I was doing 175 in a Renault, steering wheel shaking and I swear to god I didn’t see it but I heard a bike fly by my left. I only actually saw him when he was way passed me. It was unreal.

That's why you always have to stick to the right line except for passing. We can't implement things like highways without speed limits in my country, because people here can't behave properly.

Definitely giving me the scares just watching it,,,your swimming on dangerous water dude,,,you gotta keep it low buddy,,,I would definitely lose control in that speed,,,cause the fear might put me away,,,I've never been scared on a car,,,but am really scared of bikes and the people who rides it,,,I understand that its what they like,,,but bikes took the lives of three of my best buds year after year,,,and I stopped even sitting on a motor bike for the past 11 years,,,but am good with cars...but recently I got kinda done with cars too...and sold it away,,,and I just love going on the bus I always did since a kid...I still do...hey be safe man...❤
