Thanks for this. I have been wanting to add soft enclosure to my rmax2 but really didnt like the idea of putting holes in my plastics.

I just did my 22 two seater. Worked great. I would never put those snaps in door and drill holes. No way. It is easier to do on a x2 the video helped me the most. I love this channel. Only complaints on rmax so far is that it didn’t come with a tool kit

Also would have been nice if Yamaha would have designed the ROPS similar to the Polaris pro fit cage. This allows for doors with a good seal instead of zippers. However, I’m liking the Rmax.

Looks good, maybe Yamaha needs to rewrite the installation instructions.

I like the idea and concept for other states that have colder climates. But not for Florida. I want a quick on and off solution for the side windows. I guess I’ll have to install the snaps.

Thanks for the info, I will try it with the Rmax2 and see if it works with super Atv rear window. Was trying to figure out a way to not drill holes in door.

Recommend using candle wax on the zippers to help with function and longevity of the zipper...

Nice, smart idea. I don't have my RMAX4 yet, but will be putting on soft cab right away and would hate to drill mine too. I will give your install a try. Do you think you will have any issues with water flowing down the top and going in between the door panels? I suppose it would be minimal if it did and maybe the doors panels aren't sealed that well to begin with.

Thanks. There was some dirt already in between the door panels as it's not sealed, so I think it will help wash it out.

First off thanks for your vids!! Can you tell me how you separated the inner from the outer door panels? I have the four upper bolts/screws out but want to be sure I’m not missing something. TIA

I'm not completely removing the inner door panel, just removing the top screws, which allows you to create a good-enough gap to stuff the fabric into. No need to remove the outer skin, simply pry the two apart once the top screws are removed.

I used a stepped drill bit from Harbor Freight: www.harborfreight.com/power-tools/drill-driver-bits/step-drill-bits/3-piece-titanium-nitride-coated-high-speed-steel-step-drills-91616.html You'll want to drill 2 holes side by side, slightly overlapping in order to get the holder over snap. If memory serves, I went to the last step on one of the smaller bits, definitely not the large one. I used the lid from a plastic kitty litter top and just cut it with heavy duty shears.

Looks great but where does all the water and mud go when it get to that pouch at the door?
@MassiveOverkill

I've got UORP front fenders so no mud. Water simply trickles forward and down near the speaker (which is waterproof).

Do you think this could work for the Wolverine X4 2020? Great video as usual.

Unfortunately not. It will work on a 2021 X2/X4 as they have the same style 3-piece doors as the RMAX. Thank you!

Where did you get those red anchors? Can’t seem to find them. Also, would it be easier to get the outside door latch or would that not really make a difference? Thank you!

I made them from plastic (kitty litter lid). I just cut rectangular pieces and drilled holes in them. You have to unzip the door anyways so it really wouldn't help in this situation.

Do you think it would be at all possible to run this with the glass windshield from Yamaha I really don’t want to have to buy the hard cab don’t see why it couldn’t sneak In between the cage and maybe the a pillar molded pieces that come with the windshield
@MassiveOverkill

You may have to cut your soft cab or make holes where the glass windshield's molding attach to the cage.

Some have made it work by cutting the soft cab, but not without modifications.
