This is one of three that was sent to us for rebuilding. We posted the 1st one we did previously and it's on the track now. This one is a recreation of the Jose Hartman engine that dominated the 100cc open class back in the mid 80s.
We are using a New Old Stock Factory piston with piston to wall clearance at .003" with .040" Squish giving us a static compression of 180 lbs. It has a KT100 cylinder that has been modified to use in the original Rotary valve head and case. installed a front boost port in KT 100 cylinder and used the front intake as the Boost port. Machined the case to accept larger transfer ports to match the cylinder. We found a factory Yamaha Rotary valve ignition for this one makes it really rare. All work done by www.speedparts.co
