Yamaha is so underrated, and yet they make such great guitars for the money.

Yamaha make some beautiful acoustics. Tones for days. And, as always, beautiful playing, Meg.

I'm a big fan of these guitars. They have a really unique look, and there is nothing wrong with wanting an instrument for its appearance as much as its sound. But of course, being Yamahas, they sound great anyway!

Glad they continue to make them. I’ve been wanting Storia III for the last couple of years but haven’t been playing enough to justify the purchase.

I have the Storia 1 and it really is a great guitar. I think it has a great sound for finger style playing. The shorter scale length and smaller sized body make it very comfortable to play.

Wow! I just played one of these at my local Yamaha dealer. I love the spruce top one. This is a fantastic fingerstyle guitar. I believe it was 450$. !!! I've been a working guitarist for 40+ years. This may be the best guitar value I've played in the last few years. Pretty rare that I walk into a store and fall in love with an off the rack guitar in this price range. Quite impressed. Lovely feeling neck too.

I like the mahogany the best. I have an LL6M A.R.E., LS6, and an FG830 plus some Alvarez Guitars.

I think I prefer the Storia 1 as well - the Spruce top in satin just looks really clean and I think I prefer the ivory binding too. Meg, you look like you're enjoying yourself a lot more on video and when playing, or at least more comfortable and things seem a bit more fluid. I think it helps bring out the best in the guitars you're showing.

Meg, thanks for the awesome description of the instruments! I really appreciate the description of the colors in the woods as well. I wanted to tell you I have never heard these cords played together, starting at around 3:18 of the video. Did you put those together or did you hear them somewhere else? I’m just curious as they are beautiful and they stick in my head! I heard that you had the guitar tuned open e major etc., but the chords are simply amazing! Thanks again.
