Thank you for all of your time and effort, in the making of this really "Great" video. Your settings, and advice, are very good. I'm playing on my Tele Ultra and Tele JV Gold-Top guitars and have found super sweet-spots by, as you say, tweaking the Volume and Tone knobs. Thanks, again, my friend...

Great demo! Great set list, too. Seeing the settings on the screen is so helpful to understanding this amp. A tip of the Stetson to you, hombre!

Thanks! Great work man! I found them all quite useful as a clean/cleanish starting point for other genres (and guitars) as well. I really must try my THR 30 at a rehearsal with a flat response active speaker now!

Hi! I have found your THR videos quite interesting. Especially because you didn't hesitate to go a little bit unconventional and change speaker models, extreme eq and compressor settings, etc... Thank you for sharing. Any chance you'll upload a newer THR video? Thanks and have a great one!

I have the THR 30II (black) and absolutely love it. What " Small Case " do you have? I transport mine in the Original-box. I wish that somebody made a travel bag or case. I saw the Yamaha-one, and it afforded Zero protection for $59.00 = (like wrapping it, in a Tee shirt). Appreciate any input. Great tones brother. oNe LovE from NYC

A serendipitous find, really. I was about to throw it in a backpack, but tried an Odyssey case I've had laying around for years. I think it was originally a DJ case for CD's. I used it to store some studio mics. It's metal, slightly padded, and just long enough to fit the THR snug, with room below for the power supply and a few cables. I'll see if I can post a picture.

With the THR30: Can you use the line outs on the back to plug into a powercab like say Fender Tonemaster cab, PG spark Cab or other digital powercabs? For jamming with a loud drummer etc
@antiprise

Absolutely. And the THR speakers stay on, as well. There's a master line out volume setting for the line out, and the "guitar" volume knob on the THR controls the level of the built-in speakers independently.

Hello thanks for your video. I have a question : why have you the "Guitar Volume" at top right to ZERO ? I don't understand how this can work ?
@antiprise

I had it at zero for the screenshot. You'll want to adjust it to meet your needs. The tone stays about the same across volume levels.

Maybe you need a Tone X pedal cause they model each amp perfectly. If i was gigging i would use a ToneX or kemper

Can I get some info on that guitar please?

Yeah, it's a custom build. Turns out the telecaster I've always wanted only existed in '69 and 70, and they're impossible to find. I wanted a thinline (ultra lightweight) with a rosewood fretboard, American Bigsby, the 'swoosh' profile pickguard, red sparkle finish... So I just bought the components and assembled it. For me, it's the perfect balance of vintage tone and modern appointments (9.5 radius neck, 22 frets, individual brass barrell saddles, Fralin Hot Tele pickups, (not overwound), and a treble bleed circuit. I do love Fenders, and have several, but this is my favorite (currently).

@@antiprise Beauty, where did you get the body? I've got about 10 partcasters lol
@antiprise

@@frankiewalnuts It was an experimental purchase - being somewhat of a vintage gear snob - but I'm pleasantly pleased. It's from a Canadian guy on eBay, Carparelli, I think. The electronics from Buhr are top notch, too. I've been messing with (and messing up) guitars since the 80's and I've played Frankenstein parts-casters that felt, played, and sounded better than some vintage ( and new re-issue) Fenders.

why guitar vol is zero?

I had it at zero for the screenshot. Adjust as needed, and the tone remains relatively consistent. Adjusting the gain changes the results (obviously).
