Thank you for this practical, useful upgrade, very nice precision Fluke meter. I appreciate your thoroughness explaining the unique pin configuration on the bulb. The average person might miss that and cause some serious damage. Also very thoughtful explaining that the gasket may stick to the tail light lens and that you don't need an electric screw driver to remove or reattach it. A hand operated screw driver is the correct tool. Perhaps my wife and I will see you and your father at a Rally this year.

Whoa--hoh hoh..what..do we have here, from the memory bank of yester-year? A '74'ish Super Rat?..Super Combat?? (not quite the connoisseur I used to be ;-) And that pipe! A "Harry Taylor Strictly Hodaka" upgrade maybe? What a specimen.. Suddenly life is more simple, my hair is thicker and longer, my bones don't hurt, I have my favorite cassette playin' in my Pioneer Super Tuner and I'm not liking that gas is now up to 79 cents per gallon. I think I went thru the whole video without the LED upgrade (which I'm a huge fan of) even on my mind..😂 Thanks for the video, and the flashback😉😎👍

@@Hodakaguy AH yes..nothin' like that smell. When I was a kid, in between my XR75 and my 1st Elsinore, a neighbor gave me and my buddy a shed full of bikes that all needed somethin', for mowing and trimming 2 & 3ft tall grass and weeds in front and back. It was worth it .. A Montesa trials bike, a Penton, a Bultaco Pursang, a Dirt Squirt, and a Wombat..as well as a rolling chassis of a Jawa with some bizarre cantilever lookin', dampened front forks, the likes I've never seen since. We gave the Bultaco (and the Jawa) away as payment to two (locally famous) brothers that raced Bultacos, for getting the Hodakas goin' and stopin' safely. They were several years our senior, and I was the paper boy, so they did us right.. They were fairly well off and had a sponsor, "Zacharian's Kawasaki / Hodaka" in Modesto Ca..(town of American Graffiti, George Lucas, etc.), that allowed them a pretty tricked out race shop style garage full of cool moto stuff..we got new filters, a fender, grips, number plates, a used but way better seat for one, even a 'lil paint & a few decals, etc. out of the deal.. We were quite the Dynamic Duo for a spell..😂 Sorry for the magazine length article.🤷♂ She's a real beauty ya got there brother, thanks for sharin'.👍

Thanks for including the link, but the link shows an 1157 part number, a 3157, or a 7443. Can you confirm which one it is? I'm guessing 1157 but I want to be sure.
