Ya veo por qué, el TX802 con asincronías alternas es muy agradable de tocar, con una sensación de espacio indescriptible.

Are these the factory sounds? Or are they edited? Do you have the sysex to share?

These are original factory sounds. I upload init sysx data at my blog. Please use these files. mukiken.sumomo.ne.jp/2022/10/08/yamaha-tx802-factory-patch-sysx/

This video shows again that an FM synth is not a complete synth, but just the oscillator. You need to add filters and effects to make the sound complete.

I agree with you. Especially when playing the original DX7 and DX7IID/FD, the sound feels thin without the effects. On the other hand, when you put a modern high-quality effector through it, you will be amazed at how much richer the sound becomes.

@@fmori_synth It's amazing what FM can do when used properly. Check out this acoustic piano recreation using FM in this video, and also the excellent Yamaha VL VP videos. kzitem.info/news/bejne/sXuQ0WeDn2R5Z44

It’s not really just an oscillator unless you are using no envelopes or LFOs for timbre, pitch, and amplitude changes…..But agree overall
