I wish I'd seen your video yesterday before I knew what this system was. My left brake piston would not return due to the top part of the system being clogged with rust and old congealed fluid. I didn't know this system was linked to the fork oil and took the two lower bolts out and it started passing out fork oil, as soon as that happend I knew exactly what the system did but now I'm having to do not just the brake part but now also because of my mistake have to get the forks redone 🤨 Thanks for the video.

the square seal can be replaced. it was the one that was leaking for me. i replaced it with a regular oring.... not optimal but it works ^_^

Hey man, thanks for the vid. I've been following you for a while. I just took my anti-dives apart and I must say they're a little tricky. I know I should replace the o-rings. I have three different o-ring sets from Harbor Freight and I'm sure I can find the right size but I'm wondering if the quality is decent enough to use. There is a guy in the states who sells anti-dive rebuild kits but he wants over $150 for basically o-rings. Can you recommend where to go to buy a rebuild kit for these things. I'm also curious of the upper portion of the unit where the brake fluid enters. It seems like they can be taken apart given that there's a hex head surrounding the piston. I'm also looking for the diaphragm that fits between the upper and lower portion of the unit. Not much information regarding these things.

What pressure would you put the anti dive bolts in to seal to the fork?

Hey Alan, my 1986 Venture bottoms out when I'm braking a little aggressively. I don't see any oil leaking from the anti-dive on the forks. Could that be the anti-dive not working or do you think I should look at something else?
