Where did you get your side bag from? Really suits the bike.
@EricleChevalier64

Hi there! The bag itself is Dutch army issue. I reinforced it myself with a thin sheet stainless steel and made a bracket to attach it to the swingarm. Thnx for the compliment by the way!

Very nice 1600. I Like the style u get on the bike. Where do you get the rear fender from ?
@EricleChevalier64
Thnx Dominik! The rearfender came with the rearwheel. Bought it second-hand from a Wildstar clubmember. It must be home made by this member because on the inside is a weld seam. I adjusted it further to fit my bike (and taste). Fenderstruts are made by me.

Vraagje... Wat voor een achtervelg heb je gebruikt?
@EricleChevalier64

@EricleChevalier64
Thanks for the compliment! The swingarm is actually not a custom one. It’s a stock/standard one, customized by me. Had to remove the original brake attachment of the swingarm and build a new brake support and new spacers. Other than that the swingarm is still stock. Have a look at my video with details of this: kzitem.info/news/bejne/qW93loWsqZd_gnY.

If you don't raise the idle rpm you will destroy your engine. Not making enough oil pressure to reach the top end...
@EricleChevalier64

Thnx for the comment Stevo! I know about idling low and not getting enough oil to the top end. When shooting this vid, I had just pushed it out of the garage! Engine was cold. Once it’s warmed up, idle is higher.

@@micaelbooya Built it from a stock Wildstar. Figured out what it should look like, made things from wood, tried it out on the bike to see if it was what I had in mind. Than had my brother in law make the wood bits in metal, tag weld the loose bits with a small MIG-machine and had them TIG-welded by a friend. Put it all back together to try it out and once satisfied, everything apart for paint and powdercoat. This is the result.

Attachment to swingarm, homemade by me. -stainless, black powdercoated, 18 inch rear wheel with 240 tire (from previous owner in Belgium, delivered new to him by Thunderbike in Germany) -narrow belt pulley and narrow belt -panseat, of the shelf at L&L choppers Holland -black powdercoated homemade sidemount licenseplate -rearlight (got it at louis.nl, but forgot the manufacturer) -Dutch army-issue sidebag -homemade black powdercoated sidebag support -Vance & Hines shortshots with super Q (quiet) baffles, .....that are not so quiet!

Idle speed must to be a 850-900rpm !!!! Oil pressure (if use a 10W40) must be between 1.5-2 BAR, and (if use a 20W50) between 2-3 BAR !!!! If idle speed too low (like on harley) you risk to broke engine carter....

Stay safe and keep the rubber on the tarmac!
