Amazing video, insightful as always. Also I loved the style of your tutorial videos but it's nice that your voice is heard and you should try tutorials in the same style! Also, if you have time to make a video like this about your template and workflow using the setup or the push specifically it could help out someone like me who shares a lot of similarities in the setup but struggle to get the template or approach to not make devices scary but fun on occasion, but actually a net positive to getting sht done. But for a broader audience reach and not my specific struggle just a general video about Yan Cook's Push techno workflow might peak a lot of others' interest

Very sweet setup! I have some thing similar with 2x Digi’s, Peak, monosynths and an APC40. Would really love to know the writing and specifically arranging / performing process. I’ve been ITB for many years and slowly getting my head round a hybrid setup I’m having way more fun but the process is longer, and a bit more fragmented/compartmentalised in some ways. Would love to know how you get from idea to finished track with such an interesting setup! 😊

Would love to see a breakdown of that as well, if and when you ever feel like it 😉 One question, what stands are you using for the Digitakt & Syntakt? Are those just laptop stands? Thanks!

Looks like you monitor each individual input from the Syntakt in Overbridge. Do you have any strategy for monitoring the Analog FX block track? You will get the audio from the individual track as well as the FX track if you monitor all inputs, which will lead to some sounds being much louder. Thanks for any feedback!

Hi Yan ! I was wondering if you are processing multi-tracks on stereo with overbridge ? It doesn't work with my Analog Keys, the multi-tracking is mono, but maybe it's just not possible with the Keys.

The overbridge multi-tracking is in mono. But the FX track is stereo.

@@YanCook Ok thanks, that's what i thought .. a little bit annoying for lfo with panning stuff but you're right, FX stereo is doing most of the stereo :) working perfectly for me after optimising usb connections, no latency at all

How did you get the Syntakt and Digitakt to send accurate midi sync to other devices while in overbridge mode? When I try this the midi being sent out of Syntakt is out of sync with Ableton... Ricky Tinez who works at Elektron did a whole video on getting this to work and needed a separate midi interface so I assumed it couldn't be done... Let me know your secret!?
@YanCook
7 ай бұрын
No secret, it just works)) Maybe you have audio latency? This can be a problem if your device's audio output goes to your audio interface.

The part about syntakt vs digitakt was interesting. Why is one good for low and the other for high end?
@YanCook
7 ай бұрын
Well because synthesis is a lot more versatile, and for the high frequencies it's enough for me to just use samples from Roland TR8S, which I love, + this way I have 20 channels to work with, which is plenty 🙃
