But.....didnt Chapman blow ANOTHER playoff game to end last series against the Rays? And......wait.....isnt Chapman a lefty? And threw a hanging slider UP in the zone RIGHT where Altuve loves the ball? But no....MUST have cheated right...) get the fuck over this "aSTrOs aRe cHEaTeRs!!!" whining. Cant wait til that spineless fuck Manfred gets caught for covering up and coddling his precious Yankees when the letter is finally unsealed and it all finally comes out that at least half the league was doing the same damn thing as the Astros. What a joke. Hope Mike Fiers rips his elbow and never pitches again. Fucking coward. What does the soto shuffle has to do with it? I get it taunts the pitcher, but he's not barking when the at bat is over
@imnotcreativeenoughh
3 жыл бұрын
Mmmmm Soto does shit like this a lot. Especially if he gets way ahead in the count or walks. Saw it in the WS last year and its just so obnoxious. Yes most of the time Soto just wiggles around like a douchebag but ive seen him react similar to this multiple times....and that's just the few times ive seen him play. Maybe not to the extent of full on yelling and staring down the pitcher but he does the "No No" thing a lot and barks some nonsense. Its just so obnoxious to me. I like that players are actually having fun and expressing themselves these days instead of constantly being straight faced and dour....but its starting to get a little out of hand. NFL egos are starting to show up in baseball. Thus a situation like this. Edit: i forgot to say that they likely mentioned Soto because Diaz behaving like this resembles Soto so much. This is the kind of stupid shit he does. And its especially relevant because he was doing it in the WS against Houston last year.
@ethan_shrapnel
3 жыл бұрын
@@imnotcreativeenoughh This is straight cap, Soto never barked at anyone in the World Series nor does he ever unless they do it first. The shuffle isn't even him showing guys up either, it's just his routine every time he takes a pitch. He's not trying to get into people's head, if you've ever listened to him you know that's not who he is. People are jealous of greatness so they try to pick at any little thing to make themselves feel less insignificant. Also you contradict yourself a lot here. You like guys having fun but then want them to only have it by your standards. Just let it be. It helps grow the game and shouldn't hurt you as much as it does.
@imnotcreativeenoughh
3 жыл бұрын
@@ethan_shrapnel Lolololol WOW. "yOUrE jUsT JEALOUS!!!"......jesus christ that is the most pathetic argument ever, and you immediately lose all credibility in using it. And yes....generally there are standards of what's crossing the line between "having fun" and being a jackass. That's not "contradicting" myself, that's something called "sportsmanship". Things CAN be taken too far, and the way you conduct yourself on the field is held to SOME standard. Whether my personal sensibilities of what's "too far" are "right" or not could certainly be debated, but im pretty sure no one should be arguing that there isn't such a thing as players being jerk-offs, especially as this new generation of talent brings more lively emotion to the game, and i don't think its a crazy stretch that i see Soto as acting immature and obnoxious. Taking a ball and then grabbing your crotch after wiggling all around, then sticking your tongue out at the pitcher is just retarded and he looks like an 8 year old. I also specifically said "maybe not to the extent of full on yelling and staring down the pitcher but he does the "No No" thing a lot and barks some nonsense". I did not say "barks some nonsense at the pitcher", i just said "barks some nonsense". And that was after saying "yes most of the time Soto just wiggles around". He 100% did what I DESCRIBED, NOT what Diaz did in this play, in the World Series. He grabs his crotch constantly as he does his "shuffle", and most of the time just talks to himself or makes some facial expression. However, his actions, even if not directed AT anyone, can easily be seen as "showing you up" regardless of what he himself thinks or claims. And this interaction ABSOLUTELY resembles what Soto does fairly often, albeit quite a bit more animated and personal toward Framber specifically. Im just curious, btw. So.....is it my jealousy of all my favorite players that makes me think they're great? Or does that only work when its someone i don't like.......cuz its not like players' behavior can affect how i feel about them or anything right? God what a fucking stupid statement. I mean, "yoUrE jUsT jEaLOuS!!" is right up there with "nUH uHh!!" and "tAkES oNe tO kNOw oNe!!". Like....reading that i could just imagine you sticking your tongue out at me, with your thumb on your nose and wiggling your fingers hahaha

I doubt it's about what pitch came. Did Framber try to tip it as a fastball and then throw a curve? That might have drawn a comment.

For all you haters out there, I didn't hear any garbage can beats or didn't see anyone from stands shooting video to steal signs for Houston. And guess what, without Altuve's errors the Astros would be in another World Series. Raw talent there, they will be back next year.

It's pretty simple case of immature behavior. Yandy lost his mind because his team was losing and still raging when he got out in the proceeding double play. Should be an interesting game tonight.
