That's family... The best Hospital have Dr.s and Nurses that are close like family. Because a Hospital that has respect for each other and an understanding of their coworkers, tend to work together better. The closer the staff is to being like family, they tend to be more compassionate to their Patients. And hopefully they will continue to be like family, even if they take different roads later on. This scene shows, that is possible.

It's not really an abortion when it's an ectopic pregnancy. The fetus has not a single chance of surviving and if there's no intervention the woman will be dead as well. I don't consider it abortion if we're talking about a pregnancy that is not viable at all.

Without Addison, Yang would have died as an intern when her fallopian tube burst. And with the laws in some places, she wouldn’t have been able to get it removed even though she not want to be pregnant but was not a viable pregnancy.

False. Although the language is extremely vague, the anti abortion laws do not refer to an ectopic pregnancy which will NEVER EVER be a viable birth. There may be an instance of some idiotic medical doctor who refuses care in that situation (because no laws really mention this specific condition) but they'd be breaking their oath of doing no harm. Basically people have raised this as a "concern", it is not actually in any the anti abortion laws in any state of the United States of America. This is what the media does, though.... They interview their opinions when reporting on things and this is an opinion that many many people have, but it's dangerous to just say this and posture is Fact. It is not. There should be language regarding this, however. I mean, it doesn't take a ticket scientist to know that a fetus can't survive outside of the uterus and that ectopic pregnancies are extremely dangerous to the woman carrying it and the ONLY logical and actual choice to be made is to end the pregnancy. But, those in favor of abortion use instances like this to bolster their stance! Just like the hole rape/incest angle.... Even though the percentage of women getting annoying for this reason are extremely low. It's somewhat disingenuous.

@@amyjobernoski1024 but it does happen. They had to pass an additional law in Texas to allow ectopic pregnancy treatment, and doctors still refuse to treat due to the risk of an uncertain ectopic diagnosis. There are documented cases of this happening, and it's not the fault of the doctors that they can't interpret poorly written laws that are not based on medical science. I never understood the argument that because something happens infrequently, it shouldn't be considered. I don't find it acceptable to say, well not that many women will die or lose their ability to have children because of this law, so it's ok.

They keep bringing it back to the fact the right to choice has always been linked to our right to have life saveing care. As a intern Christina Yang collapsed in the OR Dr balie and Dr Montgomery did the only thing they could the ended her pregnancy and saved her life . this happens in real life every day and if our country keeps going the way it is people are going to die.

So your in favour of letting the actual functioning human alive, and the exchange of life is for a baby? That may or may not be viable. The mothers life is more important. The right choice is to terminate the pregnancy so the one who is pregnant doesnt die. You need to realize that there are so many children without good parents, in shitty foster homes, in orphanages and are never taught how to live on their own and then are forced out once their an adult. Adopt. Your spouting bs .
