Britian and the U.S. are and will be close for along time, regardless what happened in the revolution. It was unfortunate blood was spilt, but it was the last option. No matter how many epistles of peace were sent to the motherland they still wanted a one way deal, no meeting in the middle or compromise. What else do people expect the colonist to do? Britian had it coming. But look at us tday, were living side by side. We might live differently in some ways, and grasp concepts differently. But were still brothers.
