All those lucky people who get to see her sing in clubs and night bars every night without them realizing that the blonde little girl they were listening to would somehow become a famous woman who's performed and played in large stages and amphitheaters for thousands of people. I wanna cry, the simplicity she had when she was Lizzy Grant was extremely precious.

I feel like back then when she was lizzy she was less stressed and would sing more confident because she had a small audience and little pressure. So she was more...herself. Only now on her last album I can feel those lizzy vibes. She's happy with who she is now.

Obviously thinking logically isn't one of your skills either. When people say they prefer one over the other, they mean that they like her demeanor and/or persona better. Obviously you don't know her very well, because there is a clear distinction between Lana and Lizzy. Lana is dark and melancholy, Lizzy is sweet and innocent. Plus she clearly said in an interview that as Lana she sings with a low, serious tone, because as Lizzy, she'd always sing high and girly, but nobody took her seriously. Get your facts straight next time before you start shit-talking people.

I also don't get how people distinguish her personas so sharply. I hear a ton of "Lizzy" in songs like Off to the Races and and Lolita, and "Lana" in Money Hunny and Velvet Crowbar. Artist alter their personas and styles between albums pretty regularly, and why can't Lana try different things? All her songs and albums are different, some times more or less, but I enjoy them all. People can totally prefer one of other for whatever reasons they want. I am just annoyed at all the people who act like she "sold out" or isn't being her "true" self anymore, based on what music they prefer.

I don't understand how people can say that Lana cannot sing or that she was ugly and she had several surgery jobs done. She sounds like an angel here, maybe now she is just a little bit stressed when she has to sing. She looks super pretty here, back in 2008. Ok I'm pretty sure she had a nose job (so what?) but she looks more beautiful now because of the make up, styling and because she is more mature. Love you Lana!

I have nothing against 'the new version' of her - but this is a side of her, I prefer - except for when she every now and then does a great performance - then she is brilliant. Lana is talented, and she is learning how to share her talent in a way that she is comfortable with. It cannot be easy becoming so well known in such a short time, so I do not think that anyone can blame her for sometimes being quite nervous and having that showing in some of her performances. I think she is doing her best, and in my opinion - she is doing great - most of the times. She has definitively added something interesting to her music - that makes her stand out from the crowd.
