This is one of those situations where the person is so mind-numbingly stupid that being mad at him doesn't even feel like a fruitful use of emotions. He's like a tornado personified, there's nothing in there to be reasoned with, he was just going to destroy whatever was in his path without a single thought, not because he was evil, not because he was trying to protect some sort of self image, but just because he existed.

Money is not enough to raise a child well fr. I’m guessing his parents coddled him or were somewhat absent because young men don’t normally turn out this way. Is it so hard to believe the dude only thought that he was going to be charged with assault and theft and that's why he talked? I understand that even if she didn't die, he'd still be looking at some pretty hefty charges such as home invasion and the like. But he probably didn't understand the gravity of the situation and thought it was merely assault and theft, nothing to hide because if the police have caught up with him, then they must know something happened with her. So he thinks he'll tell his side of the story, get charged, bailed, and can go home to bed. Obviously a good rule of thumb is to never talk to the police, but if it's clear they have some idea of what went on, then if you shut down and request a lawyer and refuse to speak to them, then they'll get shitty at you and lock you up for however many days. But if crime isn't something massive and you give them your side of the story, you'll just get processed and get to go home.

"My drama paper is due right now". Why would someone facing criminal charges ever willingly say that while being held by the police? This guy literally thinks he's talking to a school figure (as Jim aptly points out) and he thinks he knows all the steps to the dance: deny as much as possible, downplay what you can't deny, "I'm not a bad guy". Entitled rich kid, coddled college athlete who 100% believed he would walk away from assault charges without a scratch even though he trespassed, broke down a bedroom door to gain entry, refused to leave when told to and eventually left the scene leaving a bleeding and unconscious woman on her own bed - by his own telling of the story! This guy literally thought he'd just walk away with it - because he did, every time prior to that. He thought he would get away with literally anything short of murder. Yeardley's death is as much his fault as it is everyone else's who taught him he could do no wrong throughout all of his life. I bet prison's taught him a lot.

The amount of excitement I feel FINALLY seeing the return of JCS.... Hopefully everything's figured out and you all don't wind up screwed over by KZitem again. No content compares to these videos.

Ed is like the quest sidekick who always gets trapped and has to be rescued when you think you’re done

Ed needs to get a grip of himself. What a poor performance.

his speech patterns and inflection are so insanely grating, props to the detectives for making it through the entire interrogation without just strangling him

Doesn’t have a care in the world. Living off daddy’s fortune and got no worries. Dude is out of touch with reality and has no remorse for any of his actions. Also he keeps saying how he can’t believe what she did, referring to her cheating on him. While at the same time he was flirting/texting 3 other chicks before AND after he murdered her.. unreal this guy is clueless and self absorbed beyond words
