She reminds me of Olga Mostepanova, Irina Baraksanova, and Natalia Kalinina (all rolled into one).

She has to be the best gymnast I've never heard of! Her beam is amazing and her form is exquisite on every apparatus. Thank you for uploading this!

Now THIS is artistic gymnastics; just beautiful. The attention to detail, such as beautiful poetic hands, and perfect splits positions, just makes such a difference. Todays gymnasts should be forced to watch this and maybe learn something about amplitude and extension on elements. I blame the death of the compulsories for the shocking form we see in many of todays gymnasts; its a lack in performing the basics which leads to horrendous form.

I know its a rather late reply, lol, 3 years too late, but you just echo what I said, and youre obviously right. The fact that coaches DONT spend time teaching the basics, and teaching perfect technique within those basics, is why we see such sloppy routines with untidy, albeit very complex, elements:( That's what I meant when I said "attention to detail";) It matters. A lot.

I know what you mean but personally I always hated having to do the compulsories. I like to think that the lack of good form is due to the fact that coaches rush into the really difficult skills as opposed to spending time on perfecting basic skills like kips

I think the final layout was a mistake, (just about the only mistake she made) based on the fact that she redoes that pass at the end of her training.

The final layout was part of that series but her follow foot came forward on a balance check and landed in front of her landing foot which is a deduction so that's why she re does it at the end
