After discovering that Brown County has a couple of yellow, civil defense (CD)-themed Federal Signal Thunderbeam RSH-10s remaining in their system (ones that are rare to find nowadays), I decided to check out the one in a suburb of Green Bay known as Ashwaubenon. This T-Beam is located in a neighborhood next to a standpipe water tower on the northwest corner of Carole Ln & Babcock Rd. This wasn't a very easy siren to film since there aren't a lot of good spots to film it from and that I arrived here kind of late.
Thankfully, I discovered a patch of grass kitty corner from the siren that I managed to get a decent shot of it from. It seems like this neighborhood has a thing for the color yellow since there are other objects here that are yellow in addition to the siren including a fire hydrant and the curb on the corner of the intersection that you'll see when I zoom out at the end. Sirens in Brown County are tested every Wednesday at 12:00 PM (year-round) for 30 seconds of alert.
