The yellow-vented bulbul, or eastern yellow-vented bulbul, is a member of the bulbul family of passerine birds. It is a resident breeder in southeastern Asia from Indochina to the Philippines. It is found in a wide variety of open habitats but not the deep forest.
This birds nest is located in fern pots. There are two chicks in the nest. Both parents find food to feed the young. The food that was fed was small insects and small fruit. Parents take care of their chicks all the time. Even though it rained heavily, mom came back to the nest to protect the babies and dad still find food to feed his children in the rain.
