We arrived in Cody, Wyoming looking at some properties. Our last day in Cody, Monday, June 13th we kept hearing about the flooding. We were suppose to head into Gardiner, Montana on the 14th, Thank God we didn't. The roads into Gardiner had been completely washed out. No way in or out. All entrances to Yellowstone were closed and many of the roads and bridges in the northern part of Yellowstone were washed out. So far, over 10,000 people have been recused from Yellowstone and many in Gardiner, Montana air lifted out. We were truly blessed not to be stranded in any of the devastated areas caused by what their calling a 500 year flood.
We tried to make the best of the surrounding areas like Cody, Livingston MT, and Bozeman MT. Many of the roads were closed because of bridges weaken by the flooding. I tried to turn Lemons into Lemonade with this video. Mostly still shots because the weather was windy as hell with occasional rain storms. Clearly not the best vacation we've ever had.
