Yo wazzup buggers!
So with my ribs still being a bit tender, I packed as light as possible.
After paddling a good distance with no signs of fish I had lost all hope, things just weren't going well and I let my lady know I'm packing up to head home. She promptly messaged me telling me to "just keep pushing on".
Well we lost 4 bonnies on the troll, literally didn't have time to put out the Spydro as the hit lasted for like a second and then off...
Next time I will just roll the Spydro fully.

After eventually finding a few birds milling around I started casting, non stop. Until eventually I got my first bonnie for the 'Katonkel Ronkel' comp.
Once I got the bonnie onboard something what looked like a whale was causing a disturbance on the surface to my right. Then splashes on my left ended up being yellowtail casually cruising by.
I nailed both fish on my #FishmanTackle Anchovy Sprat.
A HUUUUUGE THANKS to my brother Jarryd for rushing down to the beach to grab some excellent snaps & amazing drone footage! What a Legend!
Thanks for watching buggers & remember ....
Learn to love the paddle & the fish will come.
Cheers!
