How long did she keep her sew in in? Did she come to you every month or week to get her hair deep conditioned or anything? I’m using a sew in now to grow my hair longer
@officialsyddinpretty
2 жыл бұрын
She wore sew ins for a year. I recommend my clients keep their installs in no longer than 4-8 weeks depending on their texture. Although they will sometimes go longer. With this plan, they come in bi-weekly for deep cleanses. Ill get more into this topic soon.

Is the hair hard to take out after washing so much with braids in? My hair was matted once I did that before
@officialsyddinpretty
2 жыл бұрын
Hi, her hair wasn't washed excessively during the install. The most important thing is that you are installing the weave with a proper braid down/removing the install on time. Braids that are too loose + leaving the install in too long. Also improper removal can lead to matting.

@@officialsyddinpretty Thanks for your response. I will keep these things in mind for my next protective style.

When you take down braids always detangle thoroughly before getting the braids wet. If you wash before detangling it will mat.

Why you say Niki hair not healthy? Was it because it's in that v shape. I know some people hair will naturally grow like that. Her hair seems thick until you get to the v.

I'm with you on this. The video started out showing examples of long, yet thin hair as a result of wearings weaves. However, the client she used in this video started with short, yet dense hair, that got longer from wearing weaves. I think it's safe to conclude the photos shown in the beginning of this video were of women who all naturally have fine/thin hair. Their hair grew from wearing weaves, yet did not become dense. That said, it would have made sense had she used a model with hair characteristics similar to the examples shown in the beginning, and later showing how HER technique not only grew her client's hair, but made it significantly more dense as well. Considering your model's hair texture/condition differs greatly from the examples shown at the start of the video, this comes across as misleading and doesn't provide any solid information at all.
