Paint and decals are always my two biggest worries when building a model. Maybe try stripping it and starting over with a fresh can of paint.

Decals are always fun for me, I enjoy that part of the hobby. Not sure what happened to the paint this time, as of right now it looks like I was able to save it, I'm letting it dry as we speak

Thanks, David! I did save the Camaro, the firebird from the previous video looks ok, not great but at this point it'll be what it is I guess. Little disappointing

That looks like a wrap treatment. My guess is the humidity but you would feel it I think.

Mid 70s today, low humidity this morning, not sure what happened this time. I just need to reset myself and take my time

I had that happen with my Camaro and my Corvette using Duplicolor, it came out of the can flat. I wet sanded it and then clear coated it, and the gloss and color came back. So try clear coating it and see what happens!

Dulpicolor always has been good to me, maybe just some bad luck? I ended up sanding and reprimered it, so far it looks like I saved it, gonna let sit couple of days...

Dupli Color is lacquer based. 1 You gotta primer first. I've had it eat / wrinkle the plastic before. 2 Lacquer will always dry flat. 3 That being said you GOTTA clear over it. Hope that helps.

I've never had issues with dulpicolor before, most of the kits I've done have been with them. I always primer everything before I begin. I got lucky with the Camaro, looks like I was able to save it, I should have a new video up in couple days talking about it

Aww man! I feel your pain. With 2 different cans, it's hard to say. You said it was an older can, is it possible it froze over the winter? It's hard to say if a coat of clear will save it

My paints stay inside so they didn't freeze. Luckily I was able to save this one this afternoon. Little clean up and it should be ok

@@carouselofcrazychrisb great! Cause when I try to strip a bad paint job, it never comes out as easy as it does in videos. Can't wait to see it finished!

@pappytinkers I stripped couple cars once, took like a month to get them done. Nothing like other's videos!!!

I'm glad I'm not the only one! I haven't tried brake fluid yet, cause it costs $12 a quart now.

Not exactly sure what's going on. Two cars in a row I've had paint issues. But, as of right now it looks like this one was saved, I'll do a video in couple days after it dries up
