Ok, I like Ylvis a lot, in the sense that they are a national treasure, and there are many reasons for that, and the FOX is not one of them, they are both incredibly humble and "discreet" multitalents. But i would love to see them perform something, only once, that was completely plucked clean of satire and comedy. I would like to see them do something truly emotional and real, because i know they have it in them. They are both presentable singers and multi-instrumentalists so yeah, it would be nice to see them utilize those talents once for a heartfelt performance.

Vegard HAS done it - when he sang the Norwegian soundtrack for "Spirit - Stallion of the Cimarron" - check it out if you haven't already - he sounds great and it shows even more of his versatility because they wanted him to sound like Bryan Adams, so that's how he sang, AND he was only 22 or 23 when it was recorded. Trouble is, if they tried doing something serious now, wouldn't we all be waiting for the joke? Maybe "serious music" should be their next challenge - Ylvis - are you up for it?

I remember a lot of this from my own childhood. Our father, who became dement at quite an early age, always hid the corpses too well and we almost never found them. Since he never remembered where he´d put them himself we only found them again when the snow melted in spring. Or rather we smelled them.
