some of you might not know but Cavallino Rampante means - "prancing horse" - from the logo of Ferrari. Yngwie is a fan of Ferrari cars and has a collection of them, i think he just wrote this song praising that brand of cars. The part from 0:00 to 0:12 sounds to me as it was acceleration of a car, his shredding sounds like it's an engine running, accelerating and slowing down I imagine all the parts inside running, gears, pistons, crankshaft, valves etc. I don't know if its V8 or something else but it runs like a baby and it is a music to my ears :P

Once I was watching a documental from Ferrari cars. Suddenly they we're talking about the masterpiece Cavallino Rampante. Then this song came to my mind. Then documental talked about the delightful motor sound from the car. Then my mind blown because this song and the documental just matched as the same thing. Absolutely Yngwie just transformed his experience of driving a Ferrari car into a masterpiece of electrical guitar.

So as of this moment there are 40 dislikes of this. I can't imagine how dead you have to be inside to dislike this. 40 garbage humans not only didn't care for this piece, they said, nope I dislike this enough to press that dislike button and proclaim my dislike for it. This is an amazing piece of musical genius that humbles those who fancy themselves musicians, and leaves those who are not in awe, except for the aforementioned pieces of human debris. That's all. Thank you. Carry on.

not to whinge, but there's something off about this. i love the tune, don't get me wrong, and his guitar playing's outstanding. but still. it isn't particularly sympathetic, (or nuanced, or tasteful, or...?) and frankly i doubt there's a single high-profile orchestra anywhere in the world whose understudies, even, aren't demonstrably more technically proficient and expressive with their instruments than ym. it's a novelty, the cream of popular talent in front of an orchestra. but that's all.
